Warranty
- Your NexEar® hearing aid is covered by a one-year repair or replacement warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
- The warranty period begins at the date of original purchase, confirmed by the receipt of the mail-in registration card or on line registration, and shall extend for a period not to exceed 12 calendar months from date of purchase.
- This warranty is extended to the original owner of the product.
- All registered hearing aid units under warranty will, at no charge, be repaired to meet the original specifications or be replaced.
- The customer will be required to confirm ownership by completing the registration card with his/her name and address, as well as the date and place of purchase and serial number of the hearing aid unit.
- Fitting Tips, Tubes and batteries are not covered under this warranty and are regarded as consumables.
- The warranty does not cover malfunctions caused by abuse of the hearing aid or if the unit has been tampered with or opened.
- Specific exclusions from this warranty include, but are not limited to the following: Water damage, physical damage, damage caused by neglect or improper handling, or damage caused by wearing the hearing unit without the specified Fitting Tips.
- Warranty Warning: If you do not clean your hearing aid periodically wax build up will penetrate the receiver opening to cause malfunction, this is not covered by the warranty. However, we will repair it for you if you send it back to us for repair.
In the event of a malfunction within the warranty period, please contact us by one of the methods noted in the “Contact Us” section of this web site.
Repairs and Returns
- Each Nexear® is sold with an unconditional 30-day trial period. A full refund of the purchase price will be issued if your hearing aid is returned within the trial period. A Return Authorization Number is required.
- Before returning your hearing aid for repair or replacement, you must obtain a RAN (Return Authorization Number) from NexEar. To request a RAN refer to the “contact us” section of this website. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURNED PRODUCT WITHOUT THIS NUMBER APPEARING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE MAILER.
- After receiving the RAN, carefully pack your hearing instrument in its original packaging and send it to NexEar at the address found at the Contact Us section of this website. Send via United States Postal Service with the following information:
- The RAN
- Your full name and address
- Your phone number
- Serial Number - Right
- Serial Number - Left
- Date of purchase
- What you think is wrong with the unit
